timerfor.me does not set any first-party cookies. Simple Analytics is specifically chosen because it operates without cookies. Your browser preferences (such as dark/light mode, if applicable) may be stored in localStorage – this data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Timer Preferences

Some timer pages save your last-used settings (e.g., duration, tea type) in your browser's localStorage for convenience. This data is stored entirely on your own device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

The aggregated analytics data we receive through Simple Analytics is used solely to understand which timer pages are popular and to improve the site. We do not sell, share, or monetise visitor data in any form.

3. Third-Party Services

The site may embed content from YouTube (e.g., instructional videos). YouTube may set its own cookies when you interact with an embedded video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode (youtube-nocookie.com) where possible to minimise data sharing. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how YouTube handles data.

4. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing stored on our servers that pertains to individual visitors. Aggregated, anonymous analytics data is retained as long as the site is active.
